Rates
The base guiding rate is NZD $650.00 per day. This is for one or two anglers, and includes a New Zealand goods and services tax of 12.5%
. A full day includes professional guiding and tuition, air – conditioned vehicle transfers, a nutritious guide’s lunch, photo’s and equipment as required. A New Zealand freshwater fishing license can be arranged by your guide, however, this is not included in our fee.
The length of the fishing day is decided between the client and guide and half day trips are available on application.

Optional extras
Helicopter transfers
For those wishing to access our remote, backcountry rivers by helicopter, this can be arranged through an experienced local company, and is an additional cost at the anglers’ expense.
Prices are dependant on flying time and begin at NZD $500.00.

Camp out.
Experience the New Zealand outdoors to it’s fullest with a traditional ‘Kiwi’ campout.
These can be tailored into any of our trip options, and are charged per night in the field.

  • One angler NZD $120.00
  • Two anglers NZD $150.00
  • These prices include all equipment, and a traditional Kiwi campfire / B.B.Q. dinner and breakfast.

    Airport transfers
    While using my services you would not need a rental car.
    I can arrange a pick up and drop off service to Invercargill, Queenstown or Dunedin international airports.
    Transfers are subject to availability and prices are on application.

    Bookings
    Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 33% deposit of the total guiding fee. This may be payable in the form of a bank cheque, travelers cheque or money transfer.
    For cancellations of more than 30 days prior to the reservation date your deposit will be refunded less a NZD $250.00 booking fee. For cancellations within this 30-day period the entire deposit is forfeited unless the client finds a replacement. Due to the increasing demand of our services it is advisable to book early, to secure your choice of dates. Email me now for availability and trip options.

    Disclaimer
    I reserve the right to cut short, cancel or postpone any trip if I consider conditions to be unsafe to our interests. In such case your deposit will be refunded in full.
    Fishing in New Zealand can take us into some of the worlds most wild and isolated terrain, and while I endeavor to provide a professional and experienced service, I can accept no liability for any injuries, medical conditions, losses or claims of any kind or nature.
